With languages, you can feel like at home everywhere.
Volunteers in Norcia organized English and Spanish language lessons for local children using informal education methods like games and conversations.
“Each week there was one Spanish and one English lesson. I organized English lessons. We tried to create an interesting learning environment through games like “Charades” or “Guess who”. Make them play, make them move because that is both more fun and more effective way of learning. Our goal was to peak their interest in the language rather than make them proficient language speakers,” says Emma, one of the volunteers.
