Workcamp in Okhaldhunga

Okhaldhunga is 250 km from Kathmandu. Here we face the reality of Nepal and had the chance to participate in this workcamp. This is a place where the people live in poor conditions.

But there is a Multipurpose Farm workcamp project in the middle of the Mountains.

The Agrofarm is producing for its own employees and for sale on the market vegetables and fruits without chemical manure. The farmers are using compost to feed the soil and let plants grow up in a healthy environment.

The aim of the project is to teach a different a sustainable way to cultivate, moreover to teach how to save energies and resources using compost technique and other kinds of good practices.
