Times after catastrophes are never easy.
Norcia is a little town in Umbria, Italy, that was struck by earthquakes in 2016.
Like in many other villages and cities in the region, most of the buildings were destroyed and many people lost their homes. With more that 4,5 thousand people living in Norcia before the earthquake, town is now inhabited by only few hundreds, and many of them still live in container houses.
Sixteen volunteers joined the community in summer 2018 to help with the social reconstruction. It is a European Solidarity Corps project that will also take place in the next years to help the community.
