Carcassonne is a settlement with less than 50,000 habitants. The nightlife is very limited and artistic productions are scarce, so the population lives in a cultural stagnation, where new and different points of view are usually perceived as unnecessaries and, in some cases disruptives. However, there are still some exponents of innovation and diversity hanging around. That’s the case of Jordi Phoen’, a local youngster who joined IDC – Initiative et Développement Citoyen in search of a change of ambiance and new opportunities to forge real and strong human connections, in a region where it’s more difficult for people who think outside the box.
