"I learned and was inspired by other volunteers and Cambodian Youth Action @cyacambodia staff I met here.

They are trying to change the community situation and their way of thinking affects me in many ways and it became an opportunity for me to look back on my life and to think about my future.

Spending 2 weeks in a rural village in Cambodia and teaching English to children, I learned so many things such as culture, local living conditions, and children’s educational needs. Children looked very happy and enjoying a lot when the volunteers were there to teach and play with them. It might be difficult to make a big change to children and local people’s life just in 2 weeks, but I’m sure it will have its significant meaning when this kind of project is kept going even by different members one after another.

Today, two years later, I decided to come back and I am impressed by how children’s English has improved."
