Choose the video you want to shorten.
Choose the video from your Vimeo Create gallery that you want to trim, or upload your clips to get started.
Click the scissor icon from the player interface.
Navigate to the player interface and click the scissor icon on the bottom right corner of the screen. (You’ll need a Plus plan to access this feature.)
Trim your video within the timeline editor.
Drag the handles on the ends of the timeline frame to trim your video clip to the desired portion or length. The timestamps in the lower left corner will show exactly how many seconds you’re trimming.
Save and share your trimmed video clip.
Voila! Click “Save” to save your shortened video. Then, share it with a private link, embed it on your website, or publish it directly to social media from Vimeo Create.
